The Technical Specifications of Anode Yoke Bracket:
The cast Anode yoke is made from cast steel alloy, normalized and in accord with BS3100 Grade A1. The maximum value for equivalent carbon (CEV), based on the mill test, shall be 0.35 CEV and shall be calculated using the following formula:
CEV =C+ Mn/6 + (Cr+Mo+V) /5 + (Ni+Cu) /15

Machined Surface Finish
The cast surface of the yoke to be in contact with the transition joint shall be machined (as per Anode yoke drawing). The casting shall be stress free prior to machining. The Manufacturer shall ensure the geometry with respect to the stubs (straightness and perpendicular) meet the requirements detailed on the drawings. The remaining surfaces shall be left in a smooth “As-Cast” condition typically Ra 12.5 to Ra 25. Grooves on stubs shall be cut or ground, as per Anode yoke drawing.
